Setting myself a challenge to see if the glowing flames of my log burner could somehow be recreated using upcycled plastic bottles. Using the patterns of the bottles to create the shapes of the flames and dying the pieces to match the burning embers, a ball of fire was developed. The individual pieces were tied together to form a sturdy, geometric sphere. It measures approx. 38cm /15″ in diameter.
