The lampshade has universal fittings attached inside and can easily be placed onto any pendant bulb holder. 

Attach the bulb to the holder and put it inside the lampshade making sure that it drops down the side of the circular disc that has the split in it. Place your hand also through the top of the lampshade and hold the circular disc. Push the wire through the split in the disc and it will rest on top of the pendant holder. The small weight of the lampshade is enough to pull the split shut and firmly secure the lampshade to the fittings.
